Digital Service Provider is an installation at BRIC as a part of their House Party series on March 8, 2025. Users plug their phone and play music into an audio-reactive visualizer that deconstructs and reconstructs live webcam footage.


To stream is to request, receive, and reconstruct. Creating a stream is not the process of allowing a free rush of data through, despite the word: it is a constant process of gathering, deconstructing, mediating, and withholding. In DSP, we are invited to reflect on the flows that deliver music and on the aestheticization of streaming, listening, and capturing.
